We are a volunteer driven nonprofit organization. Our volunteers are our biggest asset. Augusta/CSRA Habitat offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals and large groups interested in supporting our goals of eliminating substandard housing in our area.
To sign up to volunteer at any of our sites (in our office, construction sites or the ReStore), please visit our online scheduling page by clicking here. Individuals must be 16 years of age or older to volunteer.
Or, if you prefer, just email our Volunteer Coordinator at .
Construction volunteer opportunities vary by the stage of home building and may also include home deconstruction projects and home rehabs from time to time. Both skilled and unskilled volunteers are welcome. If you want to learn more about construction and home renovations, this is the place for you.
Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used appliances, furniture, home accessories, and building materials to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Volunteers are needed for a variety of jobs. Some of the specific needs include:
- Sales volunteers
- Truck helpers
- Loaders and unloaders
The Administrative offices can always use help with filing, answering the phone, and special projects.
We need volunteers on our committees.
- Fund Raising
- Family Selection
- Family Support
- Public Relations
Important Volunteer Information
Due to Habitat for Humanity International policies, no one under the age of 16 can be allowed to volunteer on construction sites or at the ReStore.
We ask that all volunteers fill out and print the waiver and confidentiality agreement forms and bring them in the first time you volunteer with us. Thank you!
