Publix Charities to sponsor House # 77

Publix Charities is excited to announce a $5 million donation to Habitat for Humanity affiliates, homeless shelters, and other nonprofits providing housing to those in need. The donation is funding 40 new homes across the Southeast, and Publix is stocking the pantry of each home.

Publix began its support for Habitat for Humanity affiliates in 1989 with its first contribution to Habitat for Humanity of East Polk County (Winter Haven, FL). The foundation has continued its support ever since. It’s their way of saying, “Welcome home.”
