Habitat donates lot for New Bethlehem Community Center Garden

Habitat for Humanity is a vital part of the Augusta/CSRA community and we often work with other organizations and local governments to improve the quality of living in the areas we serve. A few years ago, we allowed the New Bethlehem Community Center to use one of our vacant lots as a community garden. Local residents are learning about growing healthy food by participating and enjoying the fruits of their work.

This garden has been very successful, so we donated the lot to New Bethlehem Community Center so their community garden could be permanent. We are thrilled to be able to do this for such a wonderful community organization.
